Can I Keep My Pc On Carpet

Hi i just built my computer and i am wondering if i can keep it on the carpet i can t really put it in my desk or else it will stick out.

Can i keep my pc on carpet.

Keeping the pc will leave it less exposed to dust that gathers on the floor this is a bigger problem if you have a carpet. Also i think if i put my computer in my desk it will. If you keep the floor around the pc clean it shouldn t pull to much in minus the fact the ground is going to always be duster and dirty than the desk. Can you put a pc tower on carpet.

And your computer well it s a giant vacuum cleaner. Well when you have the pc under the desk it will be less in the way and it will get slightly cooler air as cool air is at the bottom of the room. My current pc sits on the carpet under my desk without issue however from what i can see my new machine has a case and psu with vents underneath so sitting it on the carpet is probably not a bright idea. If the carpet is a problem consider putting it on a platform or stand on the carpet.

Here s a few of the better computer. And if you have a window in the case you can admire the computer while your game loads. You can buy rolling stands for precisely this purpose that also make it easier to move your desktop around. Although the wood or wood like floors isn t as bad as carpet.

I mean i wouldn t recommend doing that but honestly all you really have to do is touch. This is coming from someone who lives with a family that has 3. But carpets are really good at trapping dust pet hair and all manner of other things. A pc caddy will get your tower up off of the messy carpet keep it under the desk out of site and fans out of earshot a bit while being movable to allow for access to the back if necessary.

Depending on the carpet wouldn t it keep more dust than a wooden floor. I imagine dust would get caught up in the carpet which would result in a less dusty pc. Sure you can it s fine. Heck i built my first computers on carpet.
